Sarah SchulerPresident, AIA
Since 2010, Sarah A. Schuler has been leading VPS Architecture as President. Her leadership assures VPS Architecture has a distinct culture with the freedom to be creative and expressive and inspires the development of deeper design and technical knowledge. She motivates our architects and interior designers to honor the unique opportunity in each project, to listen carefully to the Owner and then to work diligently with the construction team to realize the built vision. This allows each project to reach its full potential from the initial concept to occupancy.
Sarah is responsible for establishing a project’s vision and design parameters, then leading projects from concept to completion. She actively guides the design process to ensure the established vision is carried out completely in built form. She is an active leader throughout the entire design and construction process.
Sarah is a registered architect in Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. She is a current member of the AIA Indiana Executive Committee and past president of AIA Indiana Southern Chapter and past chair of the American Library Association LLAMA Building and Equipment Section. She serves on or has served on many community organization boards including Evansville Public Art Commission, Reitz Home Museum, Children’s Museum of Evansville, Evansville Museum, Historic New Harmony, and Evansville Brownfield Corporation. She holds degrees from Ball State University and studied at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
