HOLISTIC DESIGN THAT REFLECTS THE COMMUNITY AND REGION

The new Evansville Arena located in the heart of downtown is the region’s center for sports and entertainment, designed to host basketball, hockey, concerts, exhibitions, and shows for audiences as large as 11,000. This attraction creates a vibrant atmosphere for sports fans, music lovers and conventioneers.

VPS was a part of a team let by Populous and coordinated the interior details and finishes for the Arena project.  The inspiration for the interior came from the natural elements: water, stone, and wood. All represent many of the natural resources and features found in Southern Indiana.

The finishes are not only durable and environmentally friendly, but they also represent a part of the wayfinding and organizational system of the arena as a whole. We were part of a team led by Populous.
