IN ASSOCIATION WITH CURIS Design

Looking to the future of medicine, the Indiana University Health system is working alongside CURIS Design to consolidate and replace two current high acuity hospitals into a new Academic Medical Center in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The quaternary care facility for inpatient and outpatient services creates a new model of clinical care that is flexible and adaptable for change in an ever-evolving healthcare environment. The organization and design of this $1.6B, 2.2 million square foot facility will provide a centralized center for high acuity care as well as specialized care for centers of excellence including cancer, transplant, cardiology, urology, orthopedics, and general medicine services. As part of this unique and collaborative design approach, VPS Architecture will work under the CURIS Design team umbrella throughout the entirety of the project fulfilling architecture, interior design, and project management roles.
