INSPIRING INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY THROUGH DESIGN

Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel envisioned a central location housing economic development resources and offering a collaborative atmosphere for start-up businesses and government agencies to assist them. He called on VPS Architecture to help make his dream a reality.

Selecting the old Evansville Store location on Evansville’s downtown walkway, the Mayor instructed VPS to create a clean, contemporary new façade and a high tech entry that could elucidate the City’s intention to promote growth in the business sector. Innovation Pointe speaks lucidly about Mayor Weinzapfel’s vision.

Orchestrating colorful panels in a grid configuration, VPS transformed the building’s facade into a fresh architectural composition. The second and third floors of the building contain the City’s business incubator.
