OPTIMAL EFFICIENCY, COMFORT AND OVERALL DURABILITY

Cedar Crest is a high-performance school that is no more expensive to build than conventional schools, yet it provides greater comfort and durability. This intermediate school is so resource and space-efficient, it is much less expensive to operate.

The grade 5 and 6 school facility contains seven classrooms for each grade, plus art, music, computer lab, distance learning lab and two remedial testing rooms per grade level. The layout of the school makes it possible for the school to serve the community during evening hours.

The gymnasium and cafeteria share a stage and the media center, distance learning labs and computer labs facilitate dual educational and community usage. Functioning as a public gallery of student work, the “main street” corridor allows access to the community for use after hours while securing the main classrooms.
