In conjunction with the High School expansion, a rapidly growing CTE program has led Seymour Community Schools to expand the Agricultural-Science Facility. Since the construction of the facility five years ago, the programs have been expanding at a fast pace. Moving more CTE programs to the Ag-Science Facility frees up necessary space in the High School. This expansion is the first phase in preparing for all-day programs at the facility, which is projecting to relocate 250+ students from the main High School campus to the Ag-Science Facility.
The new additions house machine trades, a welding classroom, an expanded food services program, and a new greenhouse will double capacity. This project is the first phase of a greater master plan that will eventually offer full-day programs at the Ag-Science Facility.
