Ivy Tech State College

Ivy Tech Southwest originated as a parochial high school, built in the 1960s. The design team at VPS Architecture assisted state officials and local administrators in envisioning an entirely new look for the campus, a look that is more professional and high tech.

VPS worked with department heads and technical specialists at Ivy Tech Southwest, creating a flexible architectural program for future growth and technologies, while addressing the immediate needs of technical students and faculty. Building expansions and technical improvements at Ivy Tech have assisted instructors in meeting highly specific needs of each program area.

VPS has woven all of the complex technical and systems requirements into a compact, efficient design that accommodates each program area. The following technical areas have been optimized: robotics, HVAC diagnostics, healthcare nursing technology, mechanical design technology, interior and graphic design, photography, and automotive technology.
