When the Board of Directors at First Federal Savings Bank interviewed architects, they were looking for a partner that could design a new corporate headquarters building reflecting First Federal’s banking culture and style of business. They chose VPS Architecture for the job.
VPS set out immediately to capture the essence of First Federal’s business model and its unique brand of community involvement. The collaboration between First Federal’s leadership and VPS’ principals produced a stately banking center and corporate headquarters on Evansville’s east side that is solid, secure and client-friendly.
The First Federal Headquarters consists of a two-story solution, articulated by a modern portico with classical undertones. The second floor houses administrative and financial functions, while the first floor serves as a thriving customer banking center, complete with a spacious community room and an outdoor plaza.
